KEEPING UP WITH KIM KARDASHIAN

I got to admit; when I first saw Cheryl Cole I had a bit of a girly crush on her, with her doll like complexion and gorgeous hair (with or without extensions) but when I saw pictures of Kim Kardashian recently I was in total awe of the stunning black haired Armenian beauty that I had to push Cheryl Cole aside for a while. (Does anyone else agree, she’s not looking too great at the moment?)So, I recently started watching ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ and following Kim Kardashian on Twitter and her blog on http://kimkardashian.celebuzz.com/ and boy am I hooked.
Whilst the shows are not particularly hugely entertaining (you do get sick of watching them at some point!), I do like to see how Kim and her lesser famous sisters style their hair and clothes and divide their time between home and running their two stores ‘DASH’ and ‘Smooch’ with a helping hand from their ‘momager’ Kris who is equally glamorous (after a thousand visits to the plastic surgeon I guess)
In between all this fascination, I did think to myself as to what exactly is Kim Kardashian famous for? The infamous sex tape with her then boyfriend Ray J? Her partying on the LA club scene? Dating footballer Reggie Bush? Either way, she has made a big name for herself and if it takes a sex tape to do so, then so be it, (Not that I’m contemplating we all do a sex tape to get famous mind you).I think it’s safe to say that Kim is the prettiest out of all her sisters, with her smooth dark hair, olive tone complexion and curvaceous figure, butt implants or not. I don’t mess around when it comes to Kim related news, her equally pretty blog is updated daily with photos of her recent outings as well as a Kim ‘Q&A’ style tips on anything from hair and makeup tips to relationship advice.
Some argue that she has had extensive cosmetic work, and if this is the case, then it was very cleverly done, I don’t think a big bust is to do with the fact that you’re Armenian, neither the fact that she has a big booty a la Ms Jennifer Lopez. She puts her nose down to ‘clever contouring’ now I know some MUA’s are good but magicians they are not.

And what about her wonderfully sculpted cheeks? No amount of expensive blusher can create that effect. And her lips? There are definitely some fillers swimming around in there.
But let’s give her the benefit of the doubt here, she is not afraid to feature on the show without make up and she still looks equally good. And no doubt she works hard at looking good. Proving she’s not just a pretty face, she does have what many of us don’t, an entrepreneur (Shoe Dazzle to name a few), actress, model and socialite in no particular order. She’s also launched her own perfume, produced PR documentary ‘The Spindustry’ and the Dash dolls even had talks with producers of publishing a book revealing their style, fashion and beauty tips! No doubt these would soon go flying off the shelves. She is also expected to make an appearance at New York Fashion Week unveiling her new Bebe clothing line.

Girls (and guys) adore her all across the globe, some hate her (yes believe it or not) and the good news is that you do not need to spend an absolute fortune if you desire to look a little like Kim Kardashian. For starters, I’m not qualified in beauty to dish out all this advice, but you can use any good black hair dye from any Superdrug or Boots Stores (Make sure you do a allergy test first though), but bear in mind black hair can be difficult to maintain in terms of colour and condition and I guess it would need quite a bit of maintenance. Since Kim’s hair is long, you’d also need to invest in some quality black clip in hair extensions if your hair is short.
Cheaper make up alternatives can also be found again in Superdrug or Boots and the best thing about it is that they allow you to test the makeup on the back of your hands so you can see the exact shades and ‘feel’ of them before buying. One of Kim’s favourite lip glosses is Nars in Turkish Delight but at £23 a pop, I don’t think I’ll be rushing out to get it just yet!
Sexy Kim Kardashian is not afraid to reveal her makeup tips to her fans and its obvious that she’s a huge fan of MAC. Being the stalker that I am, I’ve come to know that she uses the following:1) She uses Photo Shoot Make up Primer
2) MAC concealer in NW25
3) Make Up Forever liquid foundation, a mixture of shade 4 and 5.
4) M.A.C. Select Sheer Pressed Powder NC 30
5) M.A.C Gingerly Blush
6) M.A.C. Paint pot in a light color that matches her skin called Painterly.
7) Her beloved smoky eyes: If it’s black smoky eye, Carbon by M.A.C.; if its Grey smoky ,eye Knight Divine or Print; if it’s brown smoky eye she uses Embark by M.A.C. she loves a fresh shimmery look as well and uses M.A.C. Pigment called Tan.
8) Her favourite black pencil eye liner is by Stilla in black.
9) She uses M.A.C. Zoom mascara and Lancome Hypnose in Black.
10) For her nude lips, she uses M.A.C. Lipliner called Stripdown and a lipstick called Angel and Nars Turkish Delight lip-gloss on top. Or for very nude matte lips she wears Nars Belle De Jour and lines her lips first with M.A.C. Subculture lipliner.

One thing with Kim Kardashian is she is a lady of many talents unlike the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton who make the headlines for all the wrong reasons. From what I can see, she is very sweet, down to earth and adores her fans.
All I can say is Reggie Bush.....you are one lucky guy!
